Brian Maurer
Brian is the President of Brian-Kyles and joined the company in 1996. He has recently taken over the reins from his father, Brian-Kyles founder, Doug Maurer. Brian is a Landscape Industry Certified Technician in Hardscape and Softscape Installation, is a Licensed Ohio Pesticide Applicator, and has a degree in Landscape Horticulture from The Ohio State University. He is driven to the growth of the company and dedicated to streamlining business operations by spearheading existing challenges. When he’s not in the office, Brian enjoys camping with his family and spending time outdoors.
Kate Adams
Executive Account Manager
Kate is new to Brian-Kyles! She just joined our team in October 2017 as an Executive Account Manager. Kate currently has 17 years of landscape industry experience along with a degree from The Ohio State University in Landscape Contracting and Construction. Why did she come to Brian-Kyles? "Brian Kyles is a growing company that shares a passion for horticulture, continued education and personal growth. The company is progressive and has plans for expansion which I would like to be a part of and help achieve those successes." Aside from landscaping, Kate loves being outside playing volleyball, boating, and enjoying the summer sun.
Shaun Keefer
Account Manager
Shaun joined Brian-Kyles in May 2015 as a Turf Healthcare Applicator. He's now an Account Manager for Turf & Ornamental clients and is Landscape Industry Certified in Ornamental Maintenance, combining excellent customer service experience and thorough knowledge of landscaping industry products and practices. He enjoys working at Brian-Kyles because of the family environment and training opportunities. Shaun enjoys anything with sports (go Bucks!) and spending time with his family.

James Hopkins
Production Manager
James joined Brian-Kyles in March 2010 as a Team Leader for Turf Maintenance & Enhancement after spending time in the retail industry and has since been promoted to Production Manager. When asked why he likes Brian-Kyles, James said "I love the stable atmosphere and dependability of my coworkers. The people here want to work and we can all trust each other.” When he’s not working, James enjoys football and time with his family.
Justin David
Production Manager
Justin began as a Turf & Ornamental Team Member at Brian-Kyles in August 2016 and now manages our Landscape Design & Build Team Members. Justin has over 15 years of experience in the landscaping industry and a degree in Plant Science & Landscape Design. When asked why he loves working at Brian-Kyles, Justin loves the "family-oriented atmosphere; one that believes in the further education of their employees."
