Our Sales Team
Brian Maurer
President
Brian is the President of Brian-Kyles and joined the company in 1996. He has recently taken over the reins from his father, Brian-Kyles founder, Doug Maurer. Brian is a Landscape Industry Certified Technician in Hardscape and Softscape Installation, is a Licensed Ohio Pesticide Applicator, and has a degree in Landscape Horticulture from The Ohio State University. He is driven to the growth of the company and dedicated to streamlining business operations by spearheading existing challenges. When he’s not in the office, Brian enjoys camping with his family and spending time outdoors.
Shaun Keefer
Director of Operations
Shaun joined Brian-Kyles in May 2015 as a Turf Healthcare Applicator. He's now an Account Manager for Turf & Ornamental clients and is Landscape Industry Certified in Ornamental Maintenance, combining excellent customer service experience and thorough knowledge of landscaping industry products and practices. He enjoys working at Brian-Kyles because of the family environment and training opportunities. Shaun enjoys anything with sports (go Bucks!) and spending time with his family.
Bev Holt
Account Manager
Beverly comes to Brian-Kyles with over 25 years of experience in the horticulture industry. She is passionate about building strong customer relationships and ensuring that the client receives the Brian-Kyles high standard of service. You can often find Bev in her backyard grilling, Gardening and having fun with the dogs.

Laura Means
Human Resources Manager
Laura Grew up in Lorain, Ohio and after completing college she moved to Pittsburgh (but remained a loyal Cleveland sports fan). While in Pittsburgh, she started her HR career. Laura and her husband moved back to Ohio in 2015 just in time to witness the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2016 Championship. Laura enjoys being a part of fundraisers that benefits the American Cancer Society and Cancer research. Laura is extremely happy to be a part of Brian-Kyles and the vision that we all have here.

Jordan Baker
Field Supervisor
Jordan joined Brian-kyles in 2022 as a field supervisor.
Jordan has valuable knowledge and experience in both hardscape and softscape. He is also a licensed Indiana pesticide applicator.
In his free time Jordan enjoys playing guitar, riding motorcycles, playing sports, and spending time with his family.
Garry Porter
Field Supervisor
Garry has been with Brian-Kyles since 2018 and is a licensed lawn maintenance technician. He has nearly 7 years of experience in the industry. What does he like most about working at Brian-Kyles? He says it’s the family first mentality and that everyone pitches in to help one another. Outside of work, Garry enjoys spending time with family, playing Xbox and fishing.
